Hi all,

I'm trying the mirrorq exit on AIX. All works very fine ! My messages are well copied on the save queue.
Now I'm considering the management part:

I would like to be able to modify the namelist adding or removing queues from it dynamically.
I've prepared some scripts for that but I've noticed that I have to perform a Queue Manager Stop/Start if I want it works. I imagine that the namelist is loaded only during the Queue Manager start...

My question is : Is there a refresh command or a specific configuration to set up to force the exit api to load the new namelist ?

Thanks.

Eric

Eric,

The namelist is loaded for each process that connects to the queue manager so you have to stop/start only those programs that are using the mirroring. If you are mirroring on queues that receive messages from remote queue managers, you will have to stop/start the channel(s).

Otherwise, there is no "refresh" capability.

Thanks for this precision Charlie
In my test, The MCA was indeed connected to the queue all the time. I'm going to check that.

Thanks again

Eric
