Sorry, I get that backwards. I think of a GET as "input" to the program, and PUT as "output" from the program.
But I did say 'qlocals', not 'qremotes'. So you can only GET from qlocals is what I meant.

But you said you were opening a qremote to get messages, and when you removed that, it worked. So this is not your problem... the problem was you were trying to get from a QREMOTE, which you can't do.
