Hello!

Do we need some kind of PTF's if we want to install WebSphere MQ 5.3 on AIX 5.3? I need to know the required PTF's for both server and client.

I referred to the IBM site but it says nothing about it

Look at the readmes of the latest CSDs or the CSD that you will install for MQ to see if any fixes at OS level are recommened.

Thanks.

But I already tried doing that. Readme provided is old, and the link it gave ( http://www.ibm.com/software/ts/mqseries/support/readme )
is a broken chain. It does not work.

Has practically tried installing before?

More Details about the version I'm using:

Name: WebSphere MQ
Version: 530.5 CSD05
CMVC level: p530-05-L030926
