Hi,
I have a problem in retrieving success message after my BAR file is successfully deployed using MQSIDEPLOY command.
I have my Broker running on the Solaris machine and config manager on windows. If I call the MQSIDEPLOY command from my local machine to deploy the BAR file, the log what I am getting is containing only the event message from the config manager, my log file is unable to retrieve the success event messages after the successful deploy even after I increase the wait time (-w) to 1000, but my BAR file is deployed successfully.
If I try the same command on the setup where I have my Config manager and Broker on the same machine (Windows) I am able to get all the event messages.
Experts please advise.... |

Is the MQ channel running from your broker back to your configmgr? _________________ -wayne |

We recently had this problem as well, and there is no way to see the messages in the Event Log Viewer. There is a CUSERID field in the
CLOG table of the configuration repository that is used to populate the
Event Log Viewer. This CUSERID field has UUID information in it when
an mqsideploy command is used. You can view the Event Log messages,
however, for an mqsideploy command by using the -r and -w options. |

Sorry (well, partially ) for another v6 post.
In v6 any log messages from mqsideploy will get posted to the user's event log.
Also, the new Config Manager Proxy API allows (amongst other things) deployment and the interrogation of the resultant log messages to be done programmatically in your Java programs. |
