Hi
I have a problem. I have created a config manager in my own system. There is a broker created in another
system and Message broker Tool Kit is in another system. I want to connect to config manager of my
system from the Tool Kit system. When I am going to connect to the config manager of my system
from the Tool Kit system it is showing an error showing the following message.
BIP0889E An exception occured when communicating with the configuration manager on QM_B.
Reason:....
Ensure that the config manager is available. If so and exception still occur retry the operation after
increasing the proxy retry attempts in preferences.
TopicRoot information was not received from the Configuration Manager.
Either the Configuration Manager is not available or the user
'db2admin@bisu' does not have authority to view the object.
(UUID='TopicRoot', required attribute='name')
But I am still experincing the problem after increasing the proxy retry attempt.
Do anybody have any idea how to solve the problem? |

First up, if you're not logged on to a Windows domain, make sure that the user id you're using on the toolkit machine is
(a) also defined on the Config Manager machine,
(b) that it is a member of the mqm, mqbrkrs etc. groups (and/or you have defined access for that user using mqsicreateaclgroup) and
(c) that the Config Manager is actually running!
