If you upgrade your Java, you can use the Java API for MQ classes shipped with the base MQ Client.
But I don't think it will work with java 1.2.2. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Am I sentenced to work with Willow Software ??? |

Yes, there are difference between the two Java releases. I can't go into details, as I think they are many and I don't know them.
You should be able to install this JVM/SDK in a way that it will not replace or impact the existing one. Then only the things that need it will use it, and everything else will be the same.
What version of MQ is being used? _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Okay, you're looking to establish a client connection from the Unixware machien, to a different machine running WBIMB v5 (and likely not Unixware), presumably on top of MQ version 5.3?
Then just copy the necessary jar files from the <mq install>/java/lib to the unixware machine somewhere, and include them on the classpath of the client application. You should maybe only need com.ibm.mq.jar... but you might also need connector.jar and maybe one or two others. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
