We have recently started using contact admin to monitor MQ. How is this helpful to monitor MQ Cluster? Thanks for any ideas..

You can monitor the cluster channels.

You can monitor the cluster XMITQ depths.

Potentially a lot more... I haven't looked at their stuff in about six months, so I don't remember how much particularly they have for clusters - but I guarantee that if MQ exposes it, they monitor it.

The contact admin folks are really very responsive - especially if you get a login to their customer support site.

I created login and posted the question. I'll post their response once I receivce it.

What I want to know basically is:....

We have HPOpenView linked to contact admin to monitor MQ. Currently, we are getting notifications when qmgr is made down and up; performance events etc.. Does contact admin have any scripts provided to monitor MQ Cluster exclusively?
