I'd guess its trying to display the text for AMQ7064: Log Path not valid or inaccessible.
You can look up AMQ7064 in the WMQ Messages manual if you need more info. _________________ -wayne |

It is installed on MSCS , I am actually closer now to finding the issue thanks to wschutx hint . when I looked for the log file under
c:\mqm , I didn't find , I only found qmgrs . I tried re running the command I did first time which is
hamvmqm /m QMxxxx /dd "v:\mqm" /ld "v:\mqm\log"
but I am getting the following message
The specified destination is used by this queue manager. The destination directories must be unique.
Usage: hamvmqm /m queuemanager /dd absolutedatapath /ld absolutelogpath
so I know the log is not there , but why ? , it was there before and was able to bring QM with no issues.
Oh this is agin MQ5.3 on MSCS environment . thanks |

Sounds like the /log directory resides on your shared MSCS-drive, and that something is (terribly) wrong with MSCS or the HD.
You should contact your MSCS admins and tell them you cannot see the drive - will probably get a "oh, did you really need it?" answer or something... |

I see the the drive fine and the mqm directory under it but no log directory and can't run the hamvmqm utility again b/c of the message I was getting which I posted in the previous post at the top . |

You may have to take the qmgr out of the cluster and have it join again making sure this time that the logs directory gets there.
Enjoy |
