Howdy,
Tried a quick search, but other than learning some interesting stuff I wasn’t able to solve the question.
Basically we upgraded to weblogic 8.1 a couple of months ago. Since then we get seemingly random 2059 errors. The queue is definitely up! Usually the errors seem to get thrown more often in the morning and things stabilize towards the end of the day. (but they don’t stop! A 2059 still gets thrown every once in a while) I was unable to reproduce this problem in 2/4 environments one of which is the production env. The 2 environments that I cannot reproduce the error are Unix boxes if that info is relevant. I tried to reproduce this problem by connecting to the production queue with an instance of the web app on my localhost and was unable to reproduce this error.
I did see the 2059 gets thrown when the queue manager isn't avaliable. Other than using the wrong name, and the queue being down, what else could make the queue "unagvaliable" ? The name is correct and the Queue is up. Do you guys have any ideas on this? I’m pretty new with this stuff, so if you need extra info let me know and I’ll get back to you.
Thanks |

So you didn't get these randome 2059's before and now you're getting them? Besides weblogic, did anything else change? (mqservice level, operating system maintenance)? _________________ -wayne |

Thanks for the reply.
Unfortunately I don't have access to the 2 environments these errors are happening in so I have to go by what they tell me. As far as I know (and they've confirmed) the only thing was the weblogic upgrade. The queue and the server wasn't touched (it's located on a different server). I'll try and double check that though.
Actually now that I think about it we upgraded to java 1.4 from 1.3 (Probably irrelevant, but i don't want to leave something out) |
