Hi
I am using MQ on AIX.Is there any way by which we can export the queue manager object defintions(queues, channels etc ) to a file?
Kindly suggest a solution if this is possible.
Thanks in advance. |

WMQTool gets my vote too.
As I remember, you can backup your entire QM definitions and restore. Way cool for fast response (shame on me, I haven't done so lately. Hmmm, good reason to do it now). |

Sorry I vote for SaveQmgr...
Reason: even on old qmgrs where our monitoring tool won't work (MQ 5.0) AIX (4.?) saveqmgrc.aix (version 5.3 ) worked with a client connection from a box running MQ(5.3) and AIX 5.x Way Cool.
Helped me a lot when I had to mix and match QA with the production environment to be. (Host change for production)...
Enjoy
