Hi-
I would like to show the status of a message flow on a web page. I have subscribed operational topics '$SYS/Broker/+/Status/ExecutionGroup/#' but I am not getting the label name of the message flow when the state is changed. How could I get the name of the message flow ?.. I am thinking of creating a flow which picks up this message and gets the label name from the broker database.. Can someone suggest me .. thx, _________________ IBM Certified System Administrator -WMQ V5.3

I think you will get the UUID of the message flow. It'd be a good idea to create another message flow which does the looup of the UUID to get the message flow name. _________________ Kiran

Hi,
It is not the broker DB but the ConfigMgr DB which containst the information about the msgflows. You can use the CMSGFLOW table which contains the name and UUID of the msgflows. |

Hi-

Why not show the depth of the queues, as well as the Input Count (IPROCS)? If the queue is open, and the queue is empty, life is good.
If you just show the status of the flow, it could be "running", but looping, or god knows what else, and your q is backed up with 10,000 messages. But everyone that looks at your webpage sees the flow as running and thinks all is well.
It is also extremely easy to code to show the depth and the Input count in a webpage. I did it by coding it in a Java Applet. _________________ Peter Potkay
