Hi,

My Environment: WBIMB 5.0.4, WMQ 5.3, ConfigMgr - W2K, Broker - AIX, DB2 8.1.2

I have created and deployed normal transformation msgflows into my broker and it's working fine.

I need to use my application databases in the WBIMB message flow - compute node - to query, insert, update, etc. Have create a sample flow with a SQL query statement. Have deployed the message flow successfully. But the input message is routed to the failure terminal of the compute node. SQL statement should be correct else it willn't allow me to deploy. I doubt whether it would be DB connection part rom WBIMB Broker to Application database.

In my msgflow, i have specified the DSN name in the compute node's property. I have created a appln database and created a remote catalog for the same. Am able to connect to the database using the remote DB alias created.

Can someone brief me the steps starting from message flow, db, catalog and odbc configuration, so that i can cross check and rectify this issue.

Thanks in Advance.
cheers!!
Rohit.

Have you run the command

mqsisetdbparms -n database -u userid -p password

to let the broker access the database.
