Dear all,

I am running Websphere MQ V5R3 for the iSeries connected to a number of NT Servers. Is anyone aware of a support PAC or program that I can use to test my message flow from system to system?

So want I want to be able to do is to generate a test message and get an acnkowledgement back from the system I am interrrogating.

Thanks in advance.

Regards

If you have MQ Server installed and you are on distributed platforms, then try amqsput.
If you have MQ Client installed and distributed platforms and want to put to a queue on MQ server try amqsputc

If you want to put/get on iSeries try samples under QMQMSAMP.

Hi,

I am not sure whether those sample programs are also available for ISeries, but on other OSes I would try AMQSREQ and AMQSECH.

amqsreq is sending request messages, amqsech is sending replies.

If you just want to put messages you can also use amqsput.

cheers

Sebastian
