I used to RFHUTIL V4.0 (SAVE Q option)to save messages on my q to a file.

I then needed to load them on to another queue si i used the load q option.

Howecer only a fraction of the messages was actually witten (18 out 4000 to be exact).
The following error was output
17.20.04 *Error cc=2 rc=2102 Cannot Put
18 messages added from 1 files.

I also tried loading a subset of the file and got the following error

16.43.54 *Error cc=2 rc=2026 Cannot Put
0 messages added from 1 files.

I originally tested this by saving a file with 60 messages and reloading it. this worked without a problem.

Has anyone come across this before.
Where i can find out what the error code means?

Is there a limit to the size of file/number of messages that can be written at one time?

Any help would be great.

Both of these are documented in the Reason Code section of chapter 8 of the Messages manual.

I'd say that your log space is too small for the transaction that RFHUtil is trying to create.

Are you certain that you set all the options correctly so RFHUTIL knows where each mesage starts and ends.

Thanks guys,

I created a new queue manager with log file size, primary files and secondary files set to the maximum. Once this was done i was able to upload the file successfully.
