Hi All,

I remember, long back I came across a document(from IBM ) which explains the various states of a channel (binding, initializing, etc) in sequential order represented in graphical manner. It also showed amount of time (micro or milli secs) a channel remained in a state before moving to the next state.
For a long time, I am trying to search the similar document online but no luck yet.

May I know if someone here has it handy to provide me the link?

WMQ Intercommunications manual. Or the InfoCenter. Search for 'channel status'.

Thanks Bruce.

WMQ Intercommunications manual has the details of various channel status however, I was more interested in the amount of time a channel spends in each state. I understand that max time in each state depends on the configuration and the network yet, as far as I remember 'that' graph was representing the best case secnario. I vaguely remember that it was part of some testing that IBM was doing.

I have already googled and searched MQ infocenter (both v6 and v7) before posting here.
