Hi All,
I remember, long back I came across a document(from IBM ) which explains the various states of a channel (binding, initializing, etc) in sequential order represented in graphical manner. It also showed amount of time (micro or milli secs) a channel remained in a state before moving to the next state.
For a long time, I am trying to search the similar document online but no luck yet.
May I know if someone here has it handy to provide me the link? _________________ Regards

WMQ Intercommunications manual. Or the InfoCenter. Search for 'channel status'. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

Thanks Bruce.
WMQ Intercommunications manual has the details of various channel status however, I was more interested in the amount of time a channel spends in each state. I understand that max time in each state depends on the configuration and the network yet, as far as I remember 'that' graph was representing the best case secnario. I vaguely remember that it was part of some testing that IBM was doing.
I have already googled and searched MQ infocenter (both v6 and v7) before posting here. _________________ Regards
