Hi,
I installed CSD12 on Sun Solaris(MQ 5.3), after that I am getting the
following errors.
(1) When starting the existing queue manager I am getting the error
AMQ5615: Default objects cannot be created: CompCode = 2 Reason = 2063
(2) I tried to create new queue manager then I get the following error
AMQ8101: WebSphere MQ error (893) has occurred.
In both the cases FDC generated.
It looks like some security issue but I am using mqm user which is in mqm group.
Any ideas ? Thanks for your help |

Certainly, with CSD12 only just released, and the FDC error reports being written, it is unlikely the forum will have any answers. In my opinion you have a clear case for raising a call with Support. |

I agree with csmith28, this is sun + ldap + it security team problem, not related to CSD12.

So why did the problems start only after installing CSD12?
MHRahaman, were there any other changes / upgrades on this system, apart from CSD12 ? |

The unix SAs found the issue with "NIS Application" on the server,
After it was fixed, I am able to start and create queue manager.
Many thanks to every one for sharing your knowledge. |

It's a pity, but MQ can't know the difference between a failure to find a user or group in the two cases : (1) the user/group does not exist (2) the security subsystem fails to find them for some other reason - eg. NIS failure. |

But how can you split these? Last time when I was in fight again same error (2 days ago ), I found only a getgrent() error code:

The reason code was 0D (=EACCES).

MQ can't know. All it gets is a bad rc from getgrent or one of the other security subsystem C library calls. There's nothing I know of that MQ can do to recover from this, or even to know what is really the root cause.
By failing the getgrent call, the security subsystem is telling MQ "there is no such group" or maybe "you can't know whether there is such a group (rc=EACCES)".
If you have EACCES from getgrent, I suggest looking at the permissions on /etc/group. Or if you have a more complex security setup, then debugging this involves getting into the specific details of your setup. |

mvic,
It was an internal Solaris problem, caused by the failure handling of LDAP subsystem.
And thanks for clarification, you are right, error reporting would be more elegant.
