I have three tier scenario for my workflow system. While installing WAS i selected the IIS plugin. But I dont really know the importance of webserver plugin.

What it really does? what if I dont include or configure? I saw the WAS manual but nowhere I get clear picture.

Do we have any forum for Websphere Application Server(WAS) in this site??

Anybody?

If you do that I think instead of using the default IBM HTTP Server, WAS will use IIS.

yah...That I know. But still cannt figure it out the following things:

1. As my webserver is IIS, all the web files are in IIS. I am able to get the data from IIS to WAS(even without configuring the IIS with WAS!!!) but not able to post the data from WAS to IIS.

2. Even after configuring and setting the plugin info in both servers, I am unable to post the data to IIS from WAS.

the generic question is How does one make the webserver communicate with WAS???
the answer to the above question might be helpful to me to understand the whole thing.
