Can u implement the same functionality as the broker in WebSphere 6 ESB such as Message Routing and Transformation. What is the best way to implement an ESB?

The best way to implement your ESB is to first determine what is part of your ESB, or what constitutes the ESB in your company...

Enjoy

As fjb_saper alluded to if you are going to implement an ESB you should spend significant time planning/budgeting/consensis building. An ESB is such a complicated concept that documention and definition of the project is going to be your primary time/expense. Either that or if your boss is totally out of touch, just tell them you have it implemented already...

Seriously EJB is just a buzzword that has gotten a life like so many other IT terms (SOA, JIT, etc). It's just imposing standards on the methods for exchanging data between systems. A lot of places already do it, and just don't call it ESB.
