Hi All

if I want to do a specific action like browsing or putting messages in MQ object (for example Queue) . Then Should I have authority on the object or on the object after get resolved ?

for example , I am using alias for browsing messages in a remote queue then should I have MQZAO_BROWSE authority for the alias or for the remote queue or for both ?

Thanks

You cannot browse messages from a remote queue.

If an Alias resolves to a local queue, you can browse that, and the authorities on the Alias queue determine what you can do.
