Here is my environment:

Server Machine: AIX 4.3
App. Server : Websphere 4.2
MQ Series : 5.2

I set
INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY=com.ibm.ejs.ns.jndi.CNInitialContextFactory
PROVIDER_URL=iiop://secu5340:900

secu5340 is my machine name.

I started Websphere Admin server and confirmed that 900 port is bound.
When I am executing JMSAdmin -cfg JMSAdmin.config from bin directory I am getting the following error:

JNDI initialization failed, please check your JNDI service and setting.

Can anybody please help me out in this issue?

Thanks

hi ram ,
Make sure that the context factory call is in the classpath . to check this first try to echo the classpath and then in the prompt type javap class name , if the context factory class is in the classpath then it should list all the methods and the attributes in the file or it will say classnotfound exception . lemme know if this helps u

cheers,
murugan
