I'm using JMS to send a message from Websphere to MQ 5.3 on HP UX running the latest fix pack 9. It works fine on Windows but on HP UX, whenever I put a message into a remote queue. It automatically puts it into the system.dead.letter.queue. I used amqsput and send a test message and it works fine. Do you have any ideas?

What does the DLH say?
Did you define the queue on the HP-UX QMGR?

Do an amqsbcg against SYSTEM.DEAD.LETTER.QUEUE and post it here

Here's what I got back. Here's also my jms code to send over to mq. I already defined all the queues and channels on hp ux already.

QueueConnectionFactory factory = (QueueConnectionFactory) ctx.lookup(connectionFactoryName);
con = factory.createQueueConnection();
QueueSession session = con.createQueueSession(false, Session.AUTO_ACKNOWLEDGE);
Queue queue = (Queue) ctx.lookup(queueName);
QueueSender sender = session.createSender(queue);
TextMessage message = session.createTextMessage(textMessage);
sender.send(message);
