I'm getting harrassed by our security people about a LOCAL id on my machine which I created for admin for WBIMB - "wbimbadm". I searched this forum for similar problems, but found nothing.
This local user, on my XP workstation, was used to create the local Broker, Config Mgr, Name Server, etc. The security people are complaining that it's trying to authenticate (and failing!) on the local network.
I shut down my Name Server this morning just in case that might be the issue...
Any ideas?

Mike,
The admin user needs to do this to check for group memberships. Probably it is also looking for the 'Domain mqbr*' groups in your computers domain.
Don't they complain about the MQ user MUSR_MQADMIN? That one is also checking memberships. _________________ Jan Fluitsma

Is there a way I can prevent the admin user from looking at the domain?
Also, I did not create MQ user MUSR_MQADMIN.

I don't think you can stop the user from looking at the domain. The best you can do is file a problem with IBM, they will know whether this is possible or not.
The user MUSR_MQADMIN is created by the install procedure. _________________ Jan Fluitsma
