I am able to run the mqsc commands as 'mqm' user, i also have another userid who owns the WAS and this user is in the 'mqm' group. But this user is not able to invoke mqsc commands. Any tips please.
i have done export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.19 as root on the box which has both WAS and MQ. |

Without doing the refresh security, i was able to invoke the mqsc commands for the non mqm user. Should i have set the kernel parameter as 'mqm' instead of as 'root'?
Should i still do the refresh security, if so what is the command syntax for that? |

i was earlier not able to but after setting the kernel parameter, i was able to invoke mqsc.
I just wanted to clarify that the refresh security still need to be done or not. Thanks for the help. |
