Hi,
Is there anyone using Microsoft Visua Source safe(VSS) as SCM repository for WBI-MB IDE toolkit. Currently we plan to use VSS with opnesource VSS plugin for Eclipse.
I found that when we create Message Set , WBIMB toolkit create a file with name ".wmqi21.mxsd" . VSS doesn't allow to checkin this file.
We further explore VSS and found that any file with two dot(.) and starting with dot(.) cannot be checked-in into VSS.
Also when we create Message Set documentation project from WBIMB toolkit , few other files are created with two dot(.) and starting with dot(.).
Did anyone faced such problem ? Is there any resolution.

My experience with vss plugin for eclipse had not been positive at least when working with WBI ICS. VSS kept adding files into the project that were vss specific but confusing to my ICLs. We ended up switching to cvs plugin. _________________ Mikhail Malamud
