My wife let me buy a BushMaster Dissipator AR-15/A3 Carbine with collapsible stock and Birdcage flash suppressor accessorized with a Hi-Lo Tactical sling.
I can't wait to take it out and break it in. _________________ Yes, I am an agent of Satan but my duties are largely ceremonial. |

I get enough firearms practice shooting myself in the foot.
It's probably better for everyone that I don't involve gunpowder. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Is there a pic of your new gun?
Only out of interest... Is it legal to have a tank in the US? And if yes, can it be fully armed or does it have to be 'disfunctioned'? |

http://www.bushmaster.com/shopping/weapons/pcwa3s16d.asp link to pic but this one doesn't have the collapible stock or flash suppressor.
Yes it is legal for a civilian to own armored vehicles in the US but the largest functional armament it is allowed to have legally is a 50bmg Machine Gun. _________________ Yes, I am an agent of Satan but my duties are largely ceremonial. |

I had a Carbon 15 Pistol before Quality Parts Inc./Bushmaster purchased Professional Ordnance Inc. It was kinda fun but I couldn't really find a use for it.
I eventually swapped it out for one of the Professional Ordnance Carbon 15 Type 97 carbines. The one I have looks just like the one pictured here:
http://www.bushmaster.com/shopping/carbon15/az-c15r97.asp
except it has a parkerized carbon steel barrel instead of stainless. Also the barrel and chamber are chromed.
My Type 97 is some what of a collectable because is was manufactured before Professional Ordnance Inc. went to full production line assembly of their product.
Soon after POI went to Production Line assembly the quality of their guns went down so dramatically that not even their excellent customer service and life time warranty were able to keep them from going Tango Uniform.
So I don't shoot my Type 97 Carbon 15 much anymore. Hopefully I will one day be able to sell if for more than what I paid for it. _________________ Yes, I am an agent of Satan but my duties are largely ceremonial. |
