I recently created a cluster of 3 QMs with two full repository owners using the MQ Explorer cluster wizard. Everything went fine and the cluster worked fine. The other day I noticed that one of the two FR QMs no longer thinks it's a repository owner, and I'm wondering what circumstances could have caused that to happen. The QM has been restarted which didn't solve it.
I suppose I could re-assign it as a FR owner, but am reluctant to since I never de-assigned it.
Any thoughts? _________________ Andrew Watson

Where did you see that, in the MQExploder. I wouldn't trust that for Cluster information. It has a contact admin habit of not really knowing what's going on in a Cluster.

Yeah, I take what MQ Exploder says with a grain of salt.
If I go to the awkward but trusty runmqsc, I get:
AMQ8408: Display Queue Manager details.
DESCR( ) DEADQ(SYSTEM.DEAD.LETTER.QUEUE)
DEFXMITQ( ) CHADEXIT( )
CLWLEXIT( ) CLWLDATA( )
REPOS( ) REPOSNL( )
When I would expect:
AMQ8408: Display Queue Manager details.
DESCR( ) DEADQ(SYSTEM.DEAD.LETTER.QUEUE)
DEFXMITQ( ) CHADEXIT( )
CLWLEXIT( ) CLWLDATA( )
REPOS(STRESS_FAST01) REPOSNL( ) _________________ Andrew Watson

I don't know why you see that in runmqsc. My guess is because:

Go ahead and fix the QM's attribute with runmqsc.
And if you would like to use a GUI for cluster administration, run and download for free Support Pack MO71. It is better than MQExplorer. Much better. _________________ Peter Potkay

I re-assigned the QM as a cluster repository owner using runmqsc and things look OK now.
I'll stick to the command line tools for cluster admin from here on.
