I'm testing out the accounting and statistics features in v5.0. I can get plenty of information but I always seem to get 0 CPU useage.
I'm using the archive interval. The flow is reporting basic node information and no thread info ( -t none -n basic ). Its on Solaris. CSD3.
For each node I get something like:-
BIP2382I: WMQI node statistics. ProcessID='26457', Key='3', Label='WorkItBaby', Type='ComputeNode', TotalElapsedTime='473926164', MaximumElapsedTime='63889972', MinimumElapsedTime='54237256', TotalCPUTime='0', MaximumCPUTime='0', MinimumCPUTime='0', CountOfInvocations='8', NumberOfInputTerminals='1', NumberOfOutputTerminals='2'.
This node is adding loads of numbers together and keeps the CPU at 66% for about 2 mins each message. Surely it used more than 0!
Any thoughts ?
Thanks

I dont know much on this, but if in case i needed the CPU usage for the whole "DataflowEngine" (which i think, is not what u want) i wud rather write a shellscript with a "top" command.

Hari,
No I'm afraid I was trying to find statistics on what each node was doing so I can tune the more hungry ones.
IBM have come back to me and reported that it is a known problem with with WBIMB on Solaris http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21178071
No fix available yet.
Thanks
