Hi,
Can we use keytool instead of gsk6cmd on AIX. AIX is being used as MQ Client and MQ Queue Manager is on Solaris. On Solaris we are using gsk6cmd.
Any issues?

Raj,
You don't need more than 1 instance on gsk6cmd, because qmgr uses only the key* files. That's why you can create / manage all of key repositories on your favourite unix box.

Tibor,
On AIX I am using keytool to manage client certs. On Solaris I am using gsk to manage QMgr cert. We are getting the certs for both QMgr and client issued from a CA.
The question I was asking keytool's suitablility to use as cert mgmt on AIX beacuse I am to use keytool on a solaris client machine. But, client certificate are failing on AIX being used a client machine:
MQJE001: An MQException occurred: Completion Code 2, Reason 2397
MQJE056: Initial negotiation failure

Raj,
This a Java client error ... in this case I can't help you because I have no experience in SSL for Java client.
