Hello,
I tried to install WBIMB in a Windows 2003 server. I used the 'Custom' installation I selected all the components, including the WSAD integration.
The installation went fine, but when I tried to open the WBIMB toolkit I noticed that the icon point to
'd:\program files\wbimb5\eclipse\mqsistudio.exe'
but that subdirectory does not exist, and the 'mqsistudio.exe' is not present anywhere.
Any ideas? |

Hi,
Look at the mqsi5.log file which is the install log (can be found under \documents and settings\<userid> with which you had installed and see if the install is sucessful

Was this an install over an older version of the broker? _________________ Patrick Goodhart

Where are you running the toolkit? On Windows 2000/XP or on the Windows 2003 server? Toolkit is not yet supported on Windows 2003 server. _________________ Kiran

FYI: Toolkit is not supported but does seem to work. We've had it on 2003 for sometime strickly as a means to do local (single machine) support work. Not an issue yet... _________________ Patrick Goodhart

I found the solution. By default the installation uses the path:
d:\program files\ibm\websphere integration message broker
which seems to be too much characters after you include the subdirectories of the application. I changed the path to:
d:\program files\ibm\wbimb\
and it worked |
