Hi
One of the application reported about this trans CKBP Abend CKB5. I checked the CICS log and shown CSQC710E MQGET failed, MQCC=2, MQRC=2033. Is this bcoz of the late response from the appl itself or the bridge could not understand the response message?

2033 means no message available on the queue with specified criteria. I think your response message is not coming within expected time. Does this app uses any WAIT option when doing MQGET?

The abend has occurred because the bridge monitor has started a CKBP task to process a specific message but that message could not be found.
One reason could be if the message has expired in the interval between the CKBR monitor task issuing the Start and the CKBP task running.
You could check whether you have too low a value in your message expiry or if there were any problems in CICS causing a backlog of task (for instance transaction class limits)
Also check whether you have fix PQ74366 applied - this is supposed to eliminate CKB5 abends for expired messages.
