promoted attributes

hi

1- where I suppose to assign a value for the message flow attribute for the promoted attribute ? I promoted the Datasource attribute but I do not know what I suppose to do after that ?

In Version 2.1 you can right-click on the message flow to set the promoted attributes.
In Version 5.0 you set the promoted attributes in the BAR file (properties tab).

I tab name is Configure.
