hi

how can I know the port where the Queue Msanager started ? I installed the MQseries but I want to know the port of the running Qmanager

Ask the person that started the Queue Manager.
Or look in the script that starts the Listener.
Or on Windows, go to MQServices and look at the Listener Properties.

If no port is specified the default is 1414 when you start a runmqlsr, listener process.

You can also make entries in your /etc/services file to define what port MQSeries will listen on.
