Hi All the QI Gurus,
Has enybody done puting EDI message to database in db related nodes.
how many tales are envolved in one kind of EDI message.

Thanks for Kiran,
A EDI X12 message was put on a MQ input node, then the message flow take the data from the EDI message and put it in a database.

EDI Messages r flat files, probably a fixed length file.
WMQI Parser by default handles only xml messages.
Now for you req. u need to Design a Message Set which does the parsing and using a compute or database node..than insert into dB.

Well, its upto you how you want to store the data. You can either store the complete incoming message into single field in TEXT format or you can store your message into different DB fields in a particular table. _________________ Kiran
