I have created a queue manager and associated services. but when i logged on to the system again it's showing me
Queue Manager unavailable and the resources command server, listener, and channel initiator are stopped and not getting started.
so i went and installed fix pack 8, but the installation gives me an error saying stop and retry.MQ services in use.
i went to services stopped MQ but still i am not able to install fix pack
Please help me and let me know whether installation of fix pack would solve the probem
One more thing is one other queue manager which was previously created on the same system is running perfectly.
Thanks |

Check your AMQERR logs and Event logs and also check if any FDC files were created. _________________ siliconfish |

A queuemanager created from command promt isn't registered in the service.
You must connect this queuemanager from the MQExplorer and configure listener, initiator and commandserver. It's better to use amqmdain or MQExplorer to create the queuemanager. _________________ Gunter Jeschawitz
