Guys i got a very small doubt. When i do runmqsc < input file all the queues defined are in capital letters even though in the script they are in small leters

My script file has something like...

DEFINE QLOCAL(McsQueue)
DEFINE QLOCAL(ProductionQ)

but it defines queues as MCSQUEUE, PRODUCTIONQ after i run the script.

You have to put the mixed case object name in quotes, otherwise MQ folds it to uppercase.

Do yourself a favor and always use UPPERCASE for everything. Separate sections of the name with .s or _s to make it easier to read.

If you NEED use upper/lower case to queue definition you must use something like this

DEFINE QLOCAL('McsQueue')

Further if you use runmqsc -v < buildfile.txt > outputfile.txt it will verify the syntax of your build file.
