I want to send an email (and/or pager) when cluster channel goes down or when cluster transmission queue depth is more than certain number. Can somebody give me direction on how we can do it? Thanks a lot.

You can also look at the heartbeat.pl program in the repository. It was written to monitor a cluster and could easily be modified to send out pages...

We are also looking for similar tool, but could not see heartbeat.pl in repo.
