That syntax worked via the webclient...thanks for the help.

Do you think this is a bug?

Also, after I created this filter via the webclient, I went into the thick client and the worklist filter is totally blank (it looks like it looks when you create a worklist without specifying any filter).

Weird.

At some point of time further development on the fat client was stopped and all future development was only done in the Web Client.
The fat client is unable to create/modify 'advanced' filter strings.
However you can use those lists in the fat client once they are created.
