Hi,

We have the MQ server 5.3 installed on a Windows 2000 server machine and the MQ client is installed on a solaris server separated by a firewall. The firewall closes the connection after 30 mins of inactivity and we are trying to fix this problem by enabling the keepalive in the MQ server.

All the documentations talk about setting "KeepAlive=yes" in the QM.ini file, but I couldn't find this file anywhere in the MQ server.

Could any one please tell me how I can enable keepalive in the windows MQ server? I appreciate any help in this regards.

This is Windows. Look in the Services Console.
