Guys i am new to HP-UX, i have to access mq on a HP-UX box. I have to install configure and create all the queues, channels etc. on that box, i am able to login to that box, the default directory that take me is /home/mqadmin, can anyone tell me what command i need to use to get on the mq directory and where it will be? do you know where can i find reference about the HP-UX basic commands to learn.
HP-UX is UNIX. Have you done anything before on Solaris? Its very similar.
I installed MQ on HP-UX for the first time last week. Nothing to different if you are at all familiar with Unix in general.
Look in the System Admin Guide for the commands, as well as the MQSC commands. They are the same on all distributed platforms. _________________ Peter Potkay
