I am interested to know if there is an out of the box utility from MQSeries for putting say 1000 messages in a queue that can be used for testing purposes.
Also what is the command to alter an existing queue manager in an unix box to default.

you can use : mqsiput utility, the mq sample : amqsblst, write your own java Programm...

Search for Support Pack ih03,
there are some useful c programs included.
Its also not good at all to use default queue managers.

There is no command available, you must manually edit the /var/mqm/mqs.ini file and modify the DefaultQueueManger: stanza. |
