I have 4qmgr's in a cluster, running on 2 boxes windows 2000 service pack 4. l
et us say QM1, QM2 QM3 & QM4.
QM1 (repos) and QM2 are on box1.
QM3 (repos) and QM4 are on box2.

For some testing reasons we got the QM3 down.
when i try to restart the qmgr it give the following message.

"The qmgr ended for reason 545284625" = xecX_E_SUBPOOL_INVALID

The error are

AMQ6119: An internal WebSphere MQ error has occurred (Failed to complete
request to Shared Storage Server)

AMQ6184: An internal WebSphere MQ error has occurred on queue manager

Thank you for you time and consideration.

It sounds like there is a process out there that still has some of the qmgrs resources open from when it came down.

Thanks for the quick response.

The application which is reading the messages from QM2 and QM4 is always listening on the queues.

Are there any suggested methods to bringing the qmgr back up.
Can you please refer to me to documentation in this regards.

Thanks for your reply mrlinux.

i could not determine why the exactly determine why the problem has occurred.

But when QM2 and QM3 which are repso were stopped.
QM1 and QM4 were automatically converted to repos and were trying to communicate with each other.

When i changed them back to cluster members, the cluster is behaving normally.
