I had like to know about FileNet.
Please share your experience on the following:

1) What is FileNet?

2) What are the differences between MQ Workflow and FileNet?

3) Can we use FileNet as an alternative to MQ Workflow?

4) Where can I get info about FileNet (other than from www.filenet.com & http://www.filesite.org/index.php )?

5) Is there any documentation for FileNet, If so where to get them?

Thanks in Advance

FileNET is an enterprise docuement Management system.

FileNET has a workflow process of its own. We have FileNET and we have Workflow. We query FileNET t show the docuements in our MQ Workflow process. The workflow offered by FileNET at the time when we made research to decide on a "Workflow products" used VB API. Not flexible.. limited functionality compared to MQWorkdlow

Yes you can .. if you want a simple, not too complex system. I think you need to buy the workflow product from FileNET and is not a part of the IS/DS services

This is one more thing I have to point. FileNET is notoriously secretive in their publications. Atleast with MQWorkflow u have good forums like these and red books offered by IBM. With FileNET sorry...
If you find one please let me know.
