I can't fnd much information other than the "Help" on the MQInput node on how this node works with the Match CORRELID checked.

I've been using the msgid / correlid concept in programming other languages for many years now on the MQ native get API calls. But in WMQI I can not find an answer to my question.

Since a flow executes when the queue gets depth, and if someone would be looking for a correlid that would not empty out the queue, does this flow continuely spin in a "tight loop".

I can not see the execution group that contains this node consuming the machine, but it still makes me wonder.

Does anyone know the internals to this node that may be able to answer this ?

Almost certainly not.

It probably does a GET with WAIT with the CorrelationID/MessageID set in the MQMD. So, it will return when a matching message arrives.
