My Web client servlet (Main) is very slow. Can someone guide what should be done to improve performance? This "main servlet" is called when user logged on and simply displays all the Work items belong to that user. Even if user have less than 10 Work Items, the web client is very slow. It is real slow when we have more than 10 concurrent requests.

This is our dev. environment and WF, WF DB2 is on NT. both are on same machine. WAS is on different on NT.

Have you read:

WebSphere MQWorkflow - Considerations for production roll out
Version 1.1

If not you should. It may help. If you don't have this go to the IBM search site and do a search on the title. Also, there may be a link to the document in this forum someplace.

I read this document. The only major thing this document is recommending is database maintenance. Are there any other things we can do to improve performance?

Also, Can someone tell how Main Servlet pulls W.I? I mean does it pull all W.I or the default category W.I first? We have 2 diff. categories. Does it pull both or only the first default one. If it pulls both is there anyway to stop that?

Turn off the log for better performance in production.

I don't understand what you are asking.
