I added one of our remote queue managers in MQ explorer on one of our windows machines. Now i do not want it, I dont see an option remove remote administration...
How do i remove it from MQ Explorer's view....

Right-click on the text: Queue Managers (should see it under the text: Console Root & Websphere MQ). Click Hide Queue Manager, then pick the name of the queue manager from this list. |

I saw that option before...but it looked tricky and was doubtfull about using it...

Other dirty solution would be to stop the listener on the remote queue manager, if you have access to it. Then refresh mqexplorer. Explorer cannot show the qm anymore.
Or may be end the command server on the remote queue manager.
All of these would require some sort of manual intervention that may affect others/other apps. Unless of course you dont really mind the qm haning around on your mq explorer. :)

In continuation to our discussion i just want to know in your experience did you see any unwanted behavior of the quque managers coz of the remote administartion?

---What abouts. I mean, what type of unwanted behaviour. I haven't. With MQ explorer you are just using a channel to talk to the remote queue manager. What could go wrong. And if anything does, it would be most likely logged to the error logs.
