All,
while starting the QueueManager in sunos(platform),I am getting the error code as amq8103-Insufficient storage available.
But I checked the disc space in /var/mqm dir it says 71% free space available.
If so what could be the reason.
If u could help me on this I would be very much greatful.

You might need to check /var/temp(i guess), or some other temp directory which is the default directory used as Swap Space for internal purposes. You have to allocate more memory to that directory.

Can you let us know if you already checked /var/mqm/errors and /var/mqm/qmgrs/<QMGR Name>/errors ? It's a good habit to check there first when things go wrong. And, to also see whats in /var/adm/messages |
