Hi,

Again, I am very new to workflow so please go slow when explaining. I have built a model in workflow and I have defined a UPES in buildtime that points me to a queue manager and a queue.

However if I am starting up multiple instances in using xml how will I keep track of these messages. Right now I have a jsp that comes up and when I click on submit, it puts stuff on a workflow queue that creates and starts an instance.

What I want to know is how to the whole deal with the UPES infrastructure and why I need it? Do I need this ? I have some automatic activities as well so will I need it then? Please guide me as I am a brand new workflow person.

For automatic activities UPES is most recommended. I believe there are a lot of posts regarding it on this forum. A search will help.
