Hi,
We're running WMQI 2.1 CSD06 on Solaris.
This afternoon, 2 of the message flows hang i.e. messages queued up in the broker's local queues but did not get processed. I found no error in any of the log. We have 8 DFEs and a total of 17 message flows. The server has 8GBs of memory. There was no indication of memory shortage. The hang message flows are on 2 different DFEs.
When I ran mqsireload command on one DFE, messages were being processed again.
Any idea ?
Thanks |

MVO,
Did you check for errors in /var/adm/messages? At the time of the hang, did the message flows' input queues have an IPPROCS count? |

Yes, that was the first thing I checked. |

Was the DFE using CPU cycles? Had a similar experience with a non-responding message flow that was using 50% of the cpu. A re-deploy of the code resolved the problem. Was unable to identify the exact cause of the loop. |
