Hi folks,
Iam new to MQ series. Iam in tesing team. My aim is to put a load on server and study the system.

Now the question is...
Is there any monitoring tool for mqseries, which gives some graphical views of MQ parameters. I want free version or atleast evaluation versions... My MQ series are installed on UNIX.
Please sujject me in this regard...
I need it very urgent ,,Please help me ....

Hi,

There are many, many commercial MQ monitoring tools out there. Most don't come cheap. There are a couple of free MQ monitoring/configurations tools (i.e. MQJExplorer, MO71, etc..) but none do graphical charts of stats.

This would be rather boring. You probably are looking for current status info (i.e. channels, queue, etc...)

Note: You can get an evaluation version from one of the big ones but be fore-warned, they WILL expect if the tool is useful that you will buy it.

In many document they say Websphear MQ and some times just MQ Series...What is the difference between them...How many types of MQ Series are there...

WMQ only has 14 API calls but a million options.

Bottom line: RTM or take a course.
